LUT - Sigma 18-35 1.8 Panasonic GX85 NATURAL
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Download includes (1) 33-grid .cube LUT file (compatible with Panasonic's LUMIX Lab app) which can be used for both personal or professional use, but it is a single-user license.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The first image shows our custom, lens-sensor settings, SOOC (Straight Out of Camera) and then the next image shows our LUT applied. Remember that it's important to use the CUSTOM SETTINGS while shooting, and that both the settings AND LUTs are specific to just this lens-sensor combination. The reason we do this, is because every lens sends light to the sensor a little differently so we're doing customized SETTINGS & LUTs for each! For non-real time LUTs or Nikon Picture Control settings, this will usually mean it's a 2-step production process: The 1st step is to add the custom settings to the camera (before recording). Then, the 2nd step is to apply this "Lens-Sensor LUT" during editing (in post-production).
YOU MUST USE THE CUSTOM SETTINGS (WHILE SHOOTING):
WARNING: Our LUTs won't work unless you use our custom, lens-sensor specific settings (while recording video). The information below is just a summary and the rest of the settings are at: https://www.silverlightphotoco.com/camera-settings/sigma-18-35-1.8-panasonic-gx85-natural
PICTURE PROFILE: Natural
CONTRAST: -3 SHARPNESS: -3 NOISE REDUCTION: +2 COLOR: -0 HIGHLIGHT SHADOW:
-0 +3 The goal of our camera settings is to improve what we call the "lens-sensor relationship" by adjusting the contrast, sharpness, noise reduction and color to create an image that looks less digital and more organic (more like film, etc). Therefore, the first step is to apply the custom settings while shooting, and the second is to add a lens-sensor LUT, to finalize the image.
