WHAT'S A "LENS-SENSOR" LUT?
I believe the only consistent way to control image quality is to use CUSTOM SETTINGS (& LUTs) for each lens-sensor combo. The reason is, the CONTRAST, SHARPNESS and COLOR of light passing through each lens is different, and so is each sensor. For more info, check out this VIDEO this BLOG post, or this PODCAST episode.
IMPORTANT: A REAL EMAIL IS NOW REQUIRED TO RECEIVE "FREE FOREVER UPDATES" FOR LUTs & EQs
ESSENTIAL TIP: Thank you for trying out these LUTs! It's super important to realize that these LUTs are the #2 step of the method (and that without our CUSTOM CAMERA SETTINGS, the LUTs won't do much). The goal for our "Lens-Sensor LUTs" was to help get the most out of budget lenses & cameras, by customizing the settings (& LUTs) to every combo. So remember, you need to use the lens-sensor camera settings while you're shooting (and then add the LUT in post). The custom camera settings are available here: www.silverlightphotoco.com/cameras
